Mosaics

I made a mosaic for my kitchen window sill/shelf, and it turned out nicely.  I spent a little more than I thought I would for the tiles, but I had fun doing it.  Now I want to make a mosaic to hang as an art piece in my bedroom.  I just found a site (by accident) that sells tiles WAY cheaper than what I paid for my other one!  I'm so excited about it!  I got triple the amount of tiles and twice as much grout for less than I spent on the other one.  I don't know if anyone else does mosaics, but here is the site if you're interested:  Mosaic Tile Arts  Hopefully their products are just as good as the stuff I used before!  I'll try to post pictures of my new project when i start it.  :)

I too would love to see the completed project.   Did you use a certain design?  Mosaic art can really be gorgeous!  The site that you posted is awesome.

Some pictures of my mosaic.  I'm a little further than what it shows on here, but you get the point.

Wow, that does not look like an easy task to say the least..but it still looks like it would be fun if you had in your mind a picture of what your making.  I can't wait to see it when it's finished..is this all coming from your "minds eye" type thing?  I have no knack for that for sure. :)

That looks so cool Chels!

I have been seeing an advertisement for making your own mosiac lamp from one of the local companies.  It just seems to me the grouting part may be a bit tricky.  I love Tiffany lamps and mosiac kinda reminds me of them.

Oh and you are welcome for the coupons.  I just save them as I get them until I have enough worth shipping out to ya.  Hugs
