Only 13 more days????? How exciting!!!!!!! I know you just can't wait.
Mom is doing fine. She's home resting and my aunt (her sister) can to help her out. She says that she's not in any pain but is really sore from the surgery (to be expected). She's just happy to be home and sleeping in her own bed.
The funeral for my cousin is this morning. I'll be heading out in acouple of hours. My aunt is doing well but now my concern lies with her being all alone. My brother came up with a wonderful idea but I don't think it's gonna work. His suggestion was that my parents have my aunt move in with them. My concern is that my mom and dad have enough on their plate and don't need to worry whether my aunt decides to take a walk and falls down a ravine or something (they live in the mountains). My next goal is talking my aunt into independent assisted living. That way she'll have her own place but it'll be on grounds where there's help if needed.
Anyway - gotta run and get some work done before I leave. Have a wonderful weekend everyone.
