Mineral makeup

Finally got me some mineral makeup today..not that brand but man do I LOVE IT.  I put off trying it cuz I have like dry to normal skin..and winter is worse and my dry skin will flake through my liquid makeup big time so I assumed it would be worse with the mineral. NOT..man I love this stuff..plus where I got mine (mall) they mix it and try it on your face to make sure the tones are right on your complextion..so awesome..after having it on all day it never did flake and it stayed on the entire day with great coverage.

Ok Trina, you have me intruiged.  I have seen some infomercials and thought about it.  I recently read that Loreal came out with Bare Naturale Mineral makeup.

My skin is normal to oily, so I was not worried about it being flaky. Which brand or company is it you fell in love with?  What is the cost?

I got mine from our mall..not sure of the brand name..dang it..they had a shop setup just outside Macy's.  I will find out and let ya know.  They made it up right there for ya and had you put it on to make sure the color was perfect for your complexion..this stuff is the bomb..I'm telling ya.  I was worried to about flaking and patchiness..none of that happens at all..I love this stuff..love it...and so worth it.  I can't imagine now ever going back to liquid again.  My face doesn't break out either with this stuff..amazing, just amazing!!

Ok I decided to look into the makeup a bit more.  I picked up Loreal's Bare Naturale in soft ivory.  I am loving this!!  It goes on so smoothly and does not look thick or cakey. But it covers completely!  I put it on for the first time this afternoon.  We will see how long it lasts now.

A tad bit pricey for my pocket... at $11.49 and Walgreens had it for $9.99.

Thanks for the idea Trina!!

I paid 30 for mine..then got on here the other night and got some Green for blemishes and yellow for under my eyes..man I love both of them. That was from Sheer Mineral. Plus I got on Ebay and got my brushes through there a whole lot cheaper then I could have where I bought my makeup through.  Glad you like it though..and you did get a great price on it for sure. :)

I think I just need to go a shade darker.  I am pretty pale considering the last time this body was in a tanning bed was 6 months ago.  But I am really enjoying this stuff.  I wish they would have come up with it years ago!  I don't know how many women I see walking around with cakey makeup on!
