and take my mom for a visit with her before she starts her chemo -- but I am still coughing! UGH! I don't think I'd be contagous anymore from thsi cold/flu I had last week, but I sure as heck don't want to take any chances. ~sigh~ not sure when we'll have another chance soon as I need to go when Doug has days off so he is home to look after Ryan.

I know exactly how you feel Annie. My mom went through chemo and us kids did the same thing. We're very protective over her health. I hope you can visit her real soon!!!!
Yup when Michael and I went to visit his aunt who was getting chemo we used hand sanitizer and a mask so she would not get anything from us. That was what the hospital suggested.
