Hi Ladies, Friday she went in for several tests including mammogram, blood work and bone density. Blood work seemed to come back fine, the mammogram showed a large mass in her right breast and the bone density showed her osteoporosis had really gotten worse to the point where she could break a bone in her back at any time. She is not to lift anything over 5lbs now. The doc is putting her on a daily shot of something to help her grow new bone and adhere to the old. Along with that she has to have another mammogram done this week. Then if that comes out the same way, they will do a biopsy. Still have no idea what the mass is near her stomach as she has not seen the surgeon yet and will not until August unless they have a cancellation. Just wanted to fill you in. So everything that is going on with her is COPD, tumors on her liver/kidney, Osteo, hiatal hernia, a mass in her right breast and near her stomach just under the skin, and bad knees. I have re-thought an old thought of mine of wanting to live to 100. She will be 84 this Aug. and I do not want to end up like her.
Your mom has alot of medical issues and it's not easy on anyone. I hope that her 2nd tests turn out well. Hang in there and if you need anything just holler, scream, vent (you know what I mean).
