Come out, come out wherever you are!

5 days and no posts?  Sheesh what happened to everyone?  School has had me at wits end with writing papers.  ugh!

The weather has come back from Fall to Summer thank heavens.  I was soo not ready for Fall yet.  Sunny and 82 here.

On the upside, I bought the truck from amom two days ago!  Yeah!!  I am thrilled to have my own vehicle again and stop driving hers!!!!! Now, I can go anywhere and everywhere without her nagging at me.  Well she can still nag, but it will only fall on deaf ears.  One more knocked off my list of things to get accomplished this year.

Fill us in, who is doing what these days?

Hi :) Just checking in! LOL!

It's definately fall here -- summer seems to have left in a hurry.

Congrats on getting a truck!

Been working and getting Anthony ready.  He leaves tomorrow for school.  We did the final shopping today of all his personal needs (shampoo, soap, toothpaste, etc).

I really think that it's starting to set in with him.  He's been fine until today.  Now he's kind of quiet and not with it (packing and stuff).

He'll be fine though.  I talked to my mom tonight and she told me to call her tomorrow when we got home.  I think she wants to see how it's going to affect me.

Actually I think I'll be fine.  He's not far from home.  It'll be good for him and us.

But I will miss him!!!

It went okay.  I was misty eyed when he came to the truck before we were getting ready to leave with these puppy dog eyes.  My heart just melts when he does that.  This summer he was saying how he was only going to come home on holidays and today he said "mom, don't worry I think I'll be home at least once a month".

He's only about a 1/2 hour away from the house, but still it's going to be weird just for a little while getting used to him not here everyday.  His dog "Bud" knows somethings up because we put his bed in our room.  He's been sitting by the door waiting for Anthony to come home.  Poor guy!!

Jeff has to go back out there today to take him some things he forgot.

big hugs Duchie..... Make sure YOUR laundry is done and your pantry is stocked, because you know he's coming home to do laundry and "shop" ....  and it's o.k. - because he knows he has a home to go to for that - he's a lucky kids {{}}

I'm so proud of my boys growing up - but can't believe how fast it's going.  It's seems like they have always been here...and always should be

I'm back - maybe...currently hangin' in Warrenton Oregon.  It was a crazy summer, and getting into the school "swing" is a bit tough...Matt left 10 days before school started, and well, there has just been a lot of changes.

On the plus side, I really think the boys will remember a lot of this triip they still talk about parts of the trip - and looooved Yellowstone - we spent all day in the car on their birthday and they still loved it (lots of short hikes)....and Stephanie - well, we were certainly blessed with an easy child - I swear if cheerleaders didn't already exist, she would invent them.......now if I could get her to sleep past 5:30 a.m.......

things are crazy here. Just got done with the school book fair. Was at school everyday helping out. Getting ready for our first fundraiser and meeting for members. The kids are in soccer and doing great. Counting down the months for Rich to come home. Got my welcome home sheet designed and now I just have to get it drawn out and buy all the paint and get started cause it will take me a bit to get it done. It will have a broken heart on one side being held together with a yellow ribbon (half the heart is red the other side is digital cammi colored). and it will read, " FINALLY...our hearts are whole again. WELCOME HOME SSGT_________. The kids are going to make their own. Something along the lines of.....Are you ready for some football?!?!?! IT'S SUPER BOWL TIME! WELCOME HOME DADDY! WE MISSED YOU! As it is looking he will be home before super bowl, so lets cross our fingers for that one.

This PTA thing is surely keeping me busy. So hopefully things will slow down a bit once we get in a routine. Being our first in many years, it is hard and not to mention we have nothing to go on. Oh well. Miss y'all!

MICHELLE!!!!  It's great hearing from you.  I was just thinking about you and wondering if you've made the move.  I can't wait to see pics of the kids and how they've grown.

Karleen - I'm so glad that Richard will be home soon.  WOOHOOO!!!  I know you and the kids must miss him sooo much.  A welcome home sign sounds terrific!!!  You'll need to show us a photo when it's done.

Hey Tami - Did you decide upon a menu for your daughter's wedding?  What did you decide upon?  Details woman... Details!!!  LOL

Annie - Are the kids back to school yet?

Lynn - Congrats on the new truck.  That's wonderful!!!!  Now you can come and go when you want with no questions asked!!!

I'm still desperately seeking a new job. Account is super negative and have finally acquiesced to asking my dad for money again... first time in almost a year though which is an improvement albeit still a bit depressing.

Have however, moved away from the b.family and in with my godmother which is wonderful! She and I get along so beautifully and I can be free to be MYSELF with her 100% gayness and everything. It's been a huge relief. Still getting my things settled in and set up, but the room is all mine and Ive been given license to arrange, paint, organize, furnish, and decorate as I see fit. Have already painted, furnished, and put up (most of) my curtains.

Am also helping her redo other parts of the house, starting with the bathroom! She calls me her live-in designer.

The dog is learning to get along with her cats which is interesting... she seems much more tolerant of the kitties than she does of the other dogs... so we're holding off letting her roam free until everyone is acquainted and happy.

Bfam is ok. They are stressing because of my uncle's DWI conviction and semi-related marital issues... not sure how that will all shake out. But I'm glad to be out of the house, and I'm also glad that I spent the last year living with them... I think it was the right thing... but now it's also the right thing to be in Dallas proper, living with someone I can be totally myself with, and have my OWN life. It's such a blessing.

New car is all fixed and running fine, although I'm not sure where the next payment will come from :eep:

I've had several primary interviews, and 1 cancelled second interview (grrr... not because they don't want me... company issues meant second interviews were all put on hold), and JUST heard from my appleone rep today that they're sending in my resume for a potential position. Thank God.

Other than worrying MAJORLY about $, my emotional health is better than ever... aside from money I'm starting to really feel at home finally.

Hang in there, it'll be okay.  I'm glad that you're living where you're more comfortable to be YOU!!!  That's soooo important.  The rest will far into place.  As far as a job?  It's tough to find something that really suits you and something that you'll be happy with for the long haul ahead.

My thoughts are with you.

Tami - That sounds like a wonderful menu.  I know the wedding will be beautiful.  Midnight blue!!!  I love it.

And YES I know exactly what you mean about bfamily and your home. LOL  I too love the idea of being able to leave and get out of dodge.  But when they're in your home you don't have that option.  Terrible I know, but sooooooo true!!

I'm here still, I've been super busy too..our school year has officially started and our first Booster Meeting has been. I've been ordering things non stop off the net for the upcoming Fall festival/carnival and just got over our Back To School Fair.

At the carnival I will be taking photo's again, we will have a sucker tree, and sell lots of blinky every things. It should be a blast. Our first community Movie night is the 12th of Oct. so we had to get ready for that one as well..the first movie of the year we are going to show "MONSTER HOUSE" as a Halloween theme. We got them mapped out until March and we will quit with those for the year. WE have Cookie dough sales again in March and delivery will be a month later..that is hectic..last time it was over 20,000 cases we sold and handed out. EEK!! But we made 9,000.00 on that a lone. Oh we have Halloween Candy Grams to do too sometime. Then our Christmas store will be open one week in Dec. So, we've got a busy year ahead of us. Plus I am still going two days a week and helping out my teacher and now Courtney's 4th grade teacher on the same days as well. I like that much better then having to do separate days as that would just be too much if you ask me.

Jerry and I are doing well..my grand babies are doing good, one moved away from me recently and I miss him so much. But his daddy sends me video clips of him on my phone so I hear him still saying "hi mama" his way of saying hi grandma. Man I love him. I offered to take the other little grandson once a week so he gets a chance to know me and Jerry..they stay to themselves a lot..so far she had brought him once and stayed to make sure he got used to us..then he got sick and I got sick this week so it was a no go. Hope next week finds us both healthy enough to have him here for the day. He is such a cutie and so reminds me of Micheal at that same age.

Well will go and hope and am glad all are doing well enough. Good luck on getting that job Sarah and glad your finally happy in your environment. Love to all

Hi Ya Trina!!!!  I'm glad that things are well with you.  I'm also glad that your son is sending videos.  What a great way to stay in touch!!  You'll have to post more pics of your other grandbaby.  I'm sure he's grown fast - they all do!!
