That makes 2 of us Annie. Last night was my company's Christmas party. Good time, but had too many LOOOOONNNNNGGG speeches if you ask me.
Next week the lights go up on the house and I'll start shopping. I have already gotten acouple of things, but got alot to do yet. I need to get on-line a little more because some of my shopping is done on-line for people far from us.
I have all but M's shopping done and some stocking stuffers and of course our x-mas thing for here at TLC. Will post an announcement soon about that.
My tree has been up since the week before Thanksgiving, trying to get the cat to not eat it. It is 6' tall and has fiber optics in it which she finds fascinating to chew on. grrr
With the way amom has been acting, she has a snowball's chance in hell of me doing her decorating any time soon.
Tami, would you please take some photos of the bay on a sunny day and send them to me? I need something to drool over, it's that or the hot looking fireman calendar for next year.
Stacey, when does Anthony get out for x-mas break? Is he doing anything special? We get out on the 22nd and go back the 7th.
Anthony said that he has finals next week and will be done by Thursday or Friday. He'll be home until January 6th or 7th (can't remember). He can't stay at the dorms because there's no R.A.s there and they consider it a liability. Therefore, he must come home which means that he will lose his job. That's right he took a part time job on his own. We tried to discourage it but we understood that he wanted money to spend for Christmas. Sooooo, I'm kind of happy that he's losing his job because he doesn't need it (financially) and really needs to crack the books a little - lol.
We (along with his 125 lb lab) are looking forward to him coming home. I do miss him, but don't miss the fighting (teenage years). I guess I'll have to stock the kitchen with his favorites - lol.
I haven't even started. It's been tough getting into the holiday spirit for me this year. We have our tree, and plan to put it up on Thursday night. Friday, dh and I are going to go shopping all.day.long. It will be nice to spend time with him,but I am so not lookiing forward to shopping all day. I pretty much know what we're getting Dylan, but the others, well, I have some ideas but not many. I'm just in a rut this year.
