Awww - Thanks ladies. We're going to just take it easy today per my request. Jeff is making one of my all time favorites (that he makes) Biscuits and Gravy (with sausage and bacon).
Jeff will be leaving for the upper coast on Tuesday to meet up with his brother regarding their dad. He's in the ICU right now with pneumonia (on top of his emphazema). They're going to try and talk him into moving closer to us. He just can't take care of himself anymore and when Jeff's brother got to their dad's house he was in shock. It was filthy. He said he couldn't even tell what color the carpet was. Both the boys will clean up the place and get it ready for when (and if) he comes home until they can get him moved. His father refuses to get help up there and even if he found the help I don't know what kind of care he would get. The hospital is small and if they moved him to a larger one it would be in Oregon. His dad's mind isn't all there anymore either. He kept talking about his 3rd wife and was saying "you know you're mom". Well she was NOT the boys mother and his dad was insistent that she was. She passed several years ago.
Anthony called last night at midnight to wish me a happy birthday. Nutty kid of mine sang into the phone and at the end said "I swear mom I'm not drunk". LOL Gotta laugh.
