Hi there ladies. I know it has been awhile since I posted.
I had yet another scare with my female parts. Had a mammogram done and that was fine. Had a pap and that was ok. However, I was having the period that never ended since the first week of January. Along with many migraines and lack of focus. Mind you that was during my bout of chicken pox. Talking about being miserable!! I finally saw an ob/gyn who referred me to a specialist to have yet another uterine biopsy done. (My first one was when I lived down in FL.) That biopsy came back fine.
However, in order to get my period under control... the doc put me on Aygestin. It is a type of hormone (progesterone) that helps control unusual and heavy bleeding of the uterus caused by hormonal imbalance.
What else? Oh ya, I moved. I am now in Knox, IN. I had moved in with my boyfriend Eric almost three weeks ago. It is a small hick town but at least it has great side walks to get back to my walking routine... Which I have finally managed to do as of this past week. No more dealing with mom. Though admittedly, the guilt factor is there. sigh
Oh and I withdrew from this semester's classes. The stuff going on with my body, I had to leave. Which screwed up my externship but I thought my health was more important.
With that in mind, I am transferring to Ivy Tech this coming semster then making a huge move to Virginia. Long story behind that one, but I am following a dream.
So Eric, Coco (cat) and myself are all quite happy.
BTW, I am on Facebook. Tami me has me on her friends if anyone else wishes to add me. I ditched MySpace ages ago.
Hey there. I was wondering about you!!! Glad to hear that all is well. Well, almost at least. You're right. Your health is more important but I'm so happy that you're not giving up your dream.
I tried e-mailing but I must have the wrong e-mail address. I'm also on facebook. Send me your url and I'll add. Terrise is also on there.
So, you're in IN now. You said you'll be moving to VA now? Wow!!!
Not much going on here. Mom was in ICU last week for bronchitis. She's doing much better and is home now. Other than that... things are quiet (thank goodness).
