Makeup brushes are important in makeup application. They  
come in various shapes and sizes and are used to give you  
a flawless look. They also do something else which you may  
or may not be aware of...  

They can harbor tons of dirt and bacteria which can cause  
acne breakouts and aggravate skin conditions. Frequent care  
will not only prolong the life of your brushes, which can  
be quite expensive, and keep your face clean and healthy...  

Here are some steps to use to keep your brushes and your face  
nice and clean...  

Run the bristles of the brush under warm running water...  

Apply a small amount of shampoo to the bristles and gently work  
into a lather.

Rinse bristles thoroughly under running water. You will see the  
makeup running off the brush...  

Continue rinsing until the water runs clear...  

Air dry. Dry the brushes with the bristles hanging down to prevent  
the water from soaking the area where the brush is attached to the  
handle. This will prevent any loosening of the glue and extend the  
life of your brushes.
