I've been super swamped with school and now have applied for a job online. I did the interview this afternoon and wait for an email to tell me how I did there. Not sure since I have been out of the work force for 10 + years if that will make a difference but I tried. I'm just so ready to make money beyond my disability. I have credit cards now I want to pay off before Christmas..(well without going without) ha ha!

I have started being parent adviser for an after school K-Kids Club also so now that is taking some of my time. I leave on Sunday to go on vacation for 2 weeks so just to let you all know I won't be on till we get back around the 30th. I hope everyone stays healthy and happy while I'm away however.

heh. I just missed everybody!

THings are ok. Currently fighting off something (yay fever).
But work is good. Had a class on Monday (2 students!), and am preparing to spend tomorrow beading!

My family is out of town until Saturday Night (they're in Cancun) and I'm LOVING the time to myself :) Wheeee..

been pretty busy here too. been doing alot of wedding stuff for my youngest daughter.

Stuff with the family is... ok. I try to be as straight as possible around the fam (heh), but I do get a bit stir crazy. They're all off in Cancun until Saturday so I'm all alone in the house with the dogs and it's absolutely DELIGHTFUL. I'll be so sad when they come home.

We're doing alright though. It's not perfect, and there's always an underlying tension between us all. But I think we've all gotten a bit calmer in general but we'll all be glad when I've got enough saved up to move out. :)

Well, our bathroom/house was in need for major repairs (still in the works). You can read about it on mt blog if you want...here: Project Entry #1 and here: Project Entry #2 (Just to warn you, I have a little bit of a potty mouth. Hope no one gets offended.)
That, and I've been babysitting my baby neice this week, and with two, it's a bit tougher to find time to post.
And has this time change messed anybody else up??? I'm having a really hard time adjusting.

Glad everyone is staying busy. Better busy than a lot of other things.

This time change is really annoying. I wasn't ready for it. In fact I have a watch project planned for the time change weekend? But it's scheduled 2 weeks too late. heh.

Did you know there are actually NO studies that prove extending daylight savings could/will have an impact on energy efficiency in America?

It's theorized that people will end up using almost exactly the same amount of energy with the extended time difference as they did without it. And what with all the software and protocal changes that the new switch makes necessary it may actually cost many major corporations MORE energy usage to catch up with the change.

I guess only time will tell. But in the meantime... I want my EXTRA hour of sleep back!

Ahhhh - home projects. Gotta Love 'Em. Men will never understand that women rule!!!! LOL. Great job Chels.

And as for the time change???? It's sucks. I keep thinking about the little kids that trick-or-treat earlier because of the time change and now the kids will be out later. I don't mind but as a parent who raised a little one - that hour can make a difference.

GIVE ME MY HOUR BACK!!!!! lol

I have been really sick and I am now just getting better. Still not 100% but getting there. Basketball season ended for the kids and baseball season is to start next month and my mom is coming for a week long visit next month for spring break too. That is about it. Other than being sick and not on the computer at all for like 2 weeks, I am around. LOL

Trina you always struck me as one of the busiest people I know. Don't know why you just did. Was it the credit cards that made you want to go back to work or was it because you were bored?

Doggie races? Oh you mean the dachsund derby. Jeff needs to build a "start box". Hopefully he'll have time in the next month or so. Then we can start training her.
