For the rest, I'm Michelle, married to Matt and Mom to the 3 best kids in the world. My sons will turn 5 on July 3, the same day my daughter celebrates her 1st birthday...
We currently live in Virginia, but will moving to Oregon this summer - assuming we get our house sold in time - if not DH will have to go as a geo-bachelor. I'm a SAHM who is still working occaisionally for my old company and have another work from job.
I'm getting ready to go hike the Grand Canyon with my Dad - I leave Saturday a.m.!! My husband is going to play Mr. Mom for 10 days.....I'm not worried about him, but think he hasn't got a true grasp of just what 10 days with 3 kids under 5 will be like...he thinks the first 3 days will be the hardest! We have a good friend though who has promised to come by as often as possible in the evenings to help him out....

OMG hubby's going to play Mr. Mom? Aw heck he'll be fine but probably ready for vacation when you return - lol. What a nice treat for you to get away and have some fun!!! Have a great time. The weather in Arizona should be really really nice this time of year. I have 2 brothers in Phoenix and love going there during the spring because it's not too hot.
Welcome Michelle! Wow Grand Canyon... Make sure you see the waterfall there at the bottom it's a 10 mile trip down there but boy is it worth it! I hope you enjoy it here as much as we do!
Starry - we are going "down" the east rim (I think) on Monday then going to the Phantom Ranch Campground for 3 nights - the middle day we are hiking to the west rim, then out on Friday. Which trail is the waterfall on? Does it sound like we are going to the right places?
Duchie -- I've been really nervous about this trip. But I know Matt is ready, and I have him "covered" as much as I can. I'm leaving him with a list of babysitters, I have a friend coming over to help with dinner/baths as often as she can. I'm getting the house clean/laundry done before I go, and the housekeepers come while I'm gone too....I'm dropping off pre-school Easter party stuff tomorrow....as long as he doesn't have to show the house we'll be fine. And - in the last couple of days I've been getting excited about it. I even think I'm ready for a break from "mommy, mommy, mommy" - but 9 days is a long time. A LONG time. I know I will be ready to be home, and glad that the first week I'm back is spring break ........ no school, no activities - :)
