AWESOME!!!! He played so much of his old and new stuff. The lighting was good. Robert Cray opened for him. Jeff and I saw him in San Francisco about 10 years ago when he played with Delbert McClinton.
You know what was really funny? I couldn't believe the age of the concert goers. Alot of silver hair there - LOL.
I don't think an Eric Clapton concert could ever be bad....Sounds like a blast! My mom loves him, she would be so jealous of you! Glad you had such a great time!
I love Clapton too. I cannot imagine him being bad in concert at all! Remember Stacey, the babyboomers are in their 60s now. So ya it makes sense since he was hot in the 70s.
60's? Yeah maybe but there were people there older than that. I was really really surprised. Medium age was about 50-60.
No didn't take the camera. Tried getting acouple on my phone, but too far away from stage. 2 minutes after I got on line to order the tickets the only seats left were nose bleed seats. But we were right in the middle and had a great view. I really wanted to be on the floor, but they wanted $350-500 a ticket. No way was I paying $2,000 for 4 tickets.
