We went over to Lake Michigan to watch fireworks on the lake which was really cool and listen to the Southwester Michigan Orchestra. Then yesterday Michael and I had put on a picnic for his parents, gradma and amom. Of course she was being her cantankerous self and really made a good impression on his family... NOT! I could have strangled her myself, I ended up apologizing to them after she left for her actions. Today I have not said one word to her. I think she knows I am ticked off.
Went over to see bdad Thursday... Got a bit more information about other half sibling, but not enough to go on. He told me to get back with him after he had a week to chill out and we would talk more. grr His wife confirmed that Diane DID have another child born around the Spring of 73. What kills me is why she put me up for adoption, kept Annette and put another child up for adoption after Annette. Didn't she learn the first time??
I'm glad that you had a good time. To answer your question about your bmom... dependant upon the relationship that she has with her "kept" daughter maybe she felt that she could not handle another one. There could be a dozen reasons. Some may not make sense to us but to her it does. I hope that you find the information Lyn.
WE just hung out because Rich was leaving on another deployment we tried to just be a family and do things together. So we heard firecrackers and went for a drive and while we were out we stopped at DQ and got whatever the kids wanted, but then he saw a taco bell and had to get some of that too. LOL. It was a fun time.
