I know it has been a LONG time since I have been on and LOTS has happened in my life.

First of all I am now divorced (my choice) and Jose and I are still friends.

Second My Mom's cancer got worse and I took care of her at home till she passed. Jose was a big help as were my sisters but it was MOSTLY on me. Thankfully it was only about 3-4 weeks that she was totally house bound and only about a week that she was totally bed ridden. It was hard but she is in a better place now (She passed on Aug 4th)
 
I have mostly not been around as I got into reading Romance novels.. Mostly Paranormal Romance (Vamps and werewolves) and Erotic Romance and Urban Fantasies. Through my love of reading I have become friends with some authors (MaryJanice Davidson, Michele Bardsley and Dakota Cassidy) I started helping them out with web site stuff and have met a TON of great authors and other readers. I moderate 4 different yahoo groups for various authors so between that, the web sites and my full time job I have been busy.

Since I was living with my Mom while she was sick and I could not afford the rent there on my own I am currently at my sisters house in NJ. I am thinking of moving out of state in January or February and will end up in Seattle or Dallas (I have good friends in both places)

After Mom passed I went on a month long vacation visiting Dallas, Vancouver (Canada) Seattle and Chicago. I visited friends in each place and had a BLAST.

Well that is it in a nut shell I am sorry I have not been around Tami came and poked me... you can always keep up with me on my blog.. I try to blog when I can.

It's so wonderful hearing from you.  I'm so sorry about the passing of your mom.  It's never easy.  I'm glad that you and Jose are still friends though... Divorce is also never easy.

Wow - getting to know those authors must be awesome.  I too love to read but just can't seem to find enough time.  Actually I really should make the time.

So... you're thinking about west coasting it?  That's great.  I lived in Seattle for a very short time but I loved it.  As far as Texas.... I've only been to El Paso to visit my sister. 

Well, again it was great hearing from you and pop in when you can because I'd love to get this place hopping again.

I'm so sorry about your mom.. I lost my mom, it will be 3 years this coming dec..

Erotic Romance....my friend reads those and is on a few boards. Not sure if they are yahoo or not, but they do go straight though to email. She knows a few authors and even has a book with her and her husband as main characters. It is part of a 4 part series. I wished I remember the named of it. But is is supposed to be really good.

Good luck on moving and finding a place of your own again. Lots of hugs and great to hear from you again!

Thanks guys, It has been hard, but I have a close family so it helps. I remember when you Mom passed Tami.

I NEVER used to read Jose actually got me into it and now I read ALL the time. I have an A
Amazon Kindle and always have that or a book with me. Amazing how much reading you can squeeze in waiting in lines at banks and stuff.

I have also been in the Dedications and Acknowledgements of a few books.

By the way I am actually moving into my OWN place this weekend. A friend of my Mom's is paying me to do some bookkeeping stuff for her that Mom used to do so now I can afford rent. I still plan to move, but with the ****ty economy not a great idea to quit my job of 14 years to move across country.
