Wii addiction!

In the world of gaming the Wii is huge news. The new Nintendo system touts great games, family friendly titles, and easy to use and play controllers.

And they weren't kidding!

My brother has cerebral palsay that takes away much of the use of his right hand. Playing video games can be an extremely frustrating enterprise for Shaun.

HOWEVER! We got him a Wii for Christmas, and it's a dream. Many of the games require only ONE hand on the controller to use. He's never been happier gaming... and we're all enjoying it too. Not just because he throws fewer fits on the Wii than he does playing his PS2 for example... but because

We're all addicted!

Bowling seems to be the house Favorite... but Shaun has also kicked my butt at Tennis and Baseball.

Have you tried the Wii yet?

Share your favorite games? Titles to watch out for.... or inappropriate content that you find so others know what to play and what to avoid!

Share your Wii injuries (if you get one... believe me... you'll have them! My shoulder is KILLING ME!)

We don't have the Wii.  My hubby has PS2, PS, Nintendo 64, Super Nintendo and the original Nintendo.  UGH!!!

Is the Wii more physical and interactive?

Definitely! And it comes with a "sports package" which includes:
Bowling,
Baseball
Boxing
Golf

And some other things I don't remembe.r All of the games are very active, as the control responds to movement. So when you play the bowling game (for example) you use the remote like a bowling ball, and swing your arm in the correct motion etc.

It's FANTASTIC!
