Getting new....

Bedroom furniture tomorrow!!!!  Yipee!

I'm so excited about it too!  It's good quality stuff.  Dh and I have been sleeping on a broken bed for awhile now. (Don't ask how it broke...ok, I'll tell ya.  I sat on it and it went "crack!"  Yes, I know I could stand to lose a few pounds, but I'm not really THAT heavy!)  We're also upgrading from a queen size to a King!  It's gonna be a little more cramped in our room, but we don't care!  We're so excited about sleeping on a quality bed, and having good quality furniture!  Just thought I'd share!

We have a King and it is so nice. Watch sales on sheets. In the Pa area Penneys has good sales for King sheets.

Sounds awesome Chels!  Congrats and enjoy! =)

Mike took all of 'our' furniture when we seperated - which was kind of a bummer initially - but getting to pick out my own new stuff was lots of fun! =)

That's great Chels.  You all are going to laugh, but my hubby and I still sleep on our king size waterbed that we bought about 20 years ago.  In fact, I've slept on a waterbed since I was about 11.  I want a new set with a regular bed, but hubby is fighting me on it.  <sigh>

Erin- Picking out new furniture was fun!

Brenda- Thanks for the info.  i just bought some sheets from Kohl's that were 40% off.  I'm hoping that they match my new comforter set (I ordered it online.)  I'll definately keep my eye out for good deals!

Dutchie - I'm hoping this stuff will last us 20+ years.  Lord knows we paid an arm and a leg for it.  I can't believe your water bed has lasted you that long!  I had a water bed in high school.  I loved it...most of the time.  I don't think I would enjoy it with dh in it with me.  It would be like sleeping in a pool on a raft, the way he and I both toss and turn.

Awesome..we downgraded from a King to a Queen and I'm loving the room we have that we haven't in 18 years..amazing..we now both have room to get out of bed without crawling out of it..Okay..Jerry was the one who had to do that all these years..haha..

How exciting though..someday I would love to get a whole new bedroom set..well minus mattress and box springs ya know. :)

I had a waterbed in high school, and then when I fist got married. I loved it while I was the only one sleeping in it. But with ex dh getting up and down in the night, I had to hold on to the side or I would go flying out when is plopped into bed. He never did think about me when he got into bed.
