Anybody have any..I could use a lot of help!!  I'm planning on painting when we get back from Disneyland this spring..I want to do textures I think..but am not sure. We've had white/off white walls for the last 18 years I'm so wanting to do color!!

Anybody got any sites they use to help them out in this?

Oh my I love painted walls and the different colors.  In my living/dining room it's a taupe color with a crisp white trim and white plantation type wood blinds.  Our room is a serene light light green with white trim.

I went to HGTV.com when I started redecorating the house.  I liked some of their ideas and loved others.

Sorry I'm late on this one...

In our living room we used a texture technique because there were a lot of flaws in the walls, and it covered it all up really well.  I can't remember what it is called.  But what we did was put a base color of paint on, and then two different tones of glazes.  Bri ragged one tone on, and then I follwed him with the second tone with a brush, and made random brush strokes.  We used a soft yellow/brown color.  It kind of looks like suade.  Here is a picture that kind of shows it: Wall

Hope that helps with the ideas!

I love that Chels.  It turned out nice.  We're looking for really high ceilings in the next house so that I can have 1 or 2 really dramatic walls.  I can't wait!!!
