My sister will need Chemo...

:(
I'm so sad and upset right now. My sister got her results yesterday.
Her cancer had spread into the lymph nodes. I didn't talk to her yet (my other
sister did -- they got back last night from going to see her, and I guess when
my oldest sister called her to let her know they were home safe, she told her
but said she didn't want to call anyone else right now).
So, now what? I'm totally freaked out -- all along I was thinking positively and
believing that she would be fine and the mastectomy would be the end of it.
She has an appointment with the oncologist on Wednesday.

Aww Annie, that is horrible. You and her are in my prayers. I hope the chemo does the trick for her!

Tell her something for me will you? Tell her it just made me get my first mammogram scheduled.

Maybe it will help her to smile to know she was the cause of me getting on the calendar for finally getting it done.

Annie, I'm so sorry to read that about your sister.  Hopefully the chemo will do the trick and will put her in remission.  She still needs the positive attitude now more than ever.  So keep trying to be positive.  I will definatly pray for her.

Thanks ladies :)
I had it wrong -- her appt with the oncologist isn't until the 29th! UGH! It was the surgeon she saw... so we're still waiting to know more (what kind of chemo -- how many doses etc etc).
